Did not sound like the call was from the UK. The lady addressed me as 'Mr (my first name)' and said it was a short call about online markets. I said I wasn't interested and she said 'Why not?' and I hung up

I had the exact same experience just now. When I asked how they got my details the women on the phone mentioned that it was on their database. When I then asked to be removed from their database she just sighed and hung up!
