Call Opus energy, wanted to discuss my account. I have no account (Scam call) reported by


It was a call from Opus energy, saying they wanted to discuss my account. I do not have account with them, they proceeded to ask for company information. There were 2 calls first one i could hardly understand them and then a second call.

A guy called our energy company asking if he could be a sales consultant or sub-broker. The line quality was poor leading us to suspect the call originated from abroad.

Foreign accent, could pronounce names properly, said we had changed our name and they wished to alter details for there invoices. Do not normally bother reporting these but on this occasion I realised it was a new type of scam and want to warn people it is not genuine.

Calims to be from my current energy supplier (Scam call) reported by


Said they were calling from Opus Energy (my current supplier) saying my contract is due for renewal, I only spoke with Opus just last week to confirm my contract is 2 years and runs to 2019. They lied about where they were calling from in order to gain my trust
