Called saying i'd been involved in an accident in the last two years, said they'd got my number through the MIB, this was within 10 minutes of posting an advert on Gumtree, I have reported this to the MIB (01908 830 001), i would advise others to too.

Apparently someone ran into my car last year and they were phoning from an insurance company. Never mind the fact that I dont own a car! And then they said I was the passenger of the car that was hit not the driver! I've not been in a car accident since I was a youngster so cannot have been me! I'm almost 100% sure they obtained my phone number from Gumtree! What a sad bunch of people. Do they actually make money this way?

I*iot company, called regarding accident. I don't drive. Told him I fly planes and does he do compo for that. I then asked him to just send me the money and I would split it in half with him. And I have 30 of my kids to feed for Christmas. Eventually he hung up, but only after making my afternoon a little brighter.

I just got a call from this company, I asked him what the name of your company & he said "Road Traffic Management" i replied can you do one thing, he said yes "i told "kiss my ..."

Claimed to be from Malta Insurance, calling about a car accident I had that wasn't my fault. He said he wanted to discuss my compensation of around £3250 - I haven't had any car accidents.....

This number comes from London, I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing, no luck. People pls did someone answer this number, who is it?

I just got an unsolicited call from this number - said it was some sort of insurance bureau - I said very politely not interested - they said f* you which suggests it is not the sort of company one would want to have dealings with!!

i answer this number they procliamed to be car accident cliams , but only knew my first name and didnt know when i had accident or any other details so i put phone down scammers or amberlance chasing solicitors
