I missed this call but when I tried calling the number back I got a message saying "Hi, you've been called by Listen on behalf of a charity". Unsolicited call, so I've blocked the number.

Repeated unsolicited calls claiming to be Greenpeace. Background noise of a large call centre. Told them to email me if they were genuine, no email but further calls, then hang up on me when I say, "we've had this conversation already"

Caller was purporting to be from Yell.com asking me to update keywords on my Yell account to be more compatible with Google searches. Sounded convincing but I gave excuse I was too busy to talk at moment so he said he would call back the next morning at 9.30am. The next day I monitored my phone calls from 9am onwards and that number didn't call until about 1.30pm but I didn't pick it up. Seems dodgy.

It's just a company called Listen who mostly work for charities to get people to sign up for donations, in my case it was for Greenpeace. They'd got my details from a petition I'd signed. Very pleasant and not a problem.

Very nice lady called me yesterday afternoon and said they were calling on behalf of the Labour Party, of which I am a member, and she was familiar with my status, asking me to assist them with promotion and campaigning for the upcoming Local Elections.
