Accident Compensations (scam call) (Scam call) reported by


Called to advise me I had been awarded £4739 in compensation following an accident I had (legitimately) been involved in. Apparently, according to the Chinese woman on the phone, the courts had decided I had won and a cheque would be delivered to my doorstep; once I questioned this I was passed onto another adviser whom I asked which court he was calling from (knowing it was a scam) to which he hung up. Waste of time scam callers - don't answer!

I had an accident in March 2017, it was hit and run the other car was not insured and hence i couldnt claim that insurance and didnt claim mine as well, i have been receiving calls from this number. I spoke to lady with indian accent, she said they work with the court and talking to me on the bahalf of the court. she said your claim has been approved Congratulations and we are releasing a payment for you of £4831 and you will be receving this amount by cheque on your doorstep. Once you receive your cheque and money is credit to your bank account you will have to pay £200 to us using Itunes gift vouchers. Doest it make sense ????? No it doesnt I told her to not to call me again, as you are Scam peoples.

Keeps calling more now after I once told them to take me off their list. It's silent calls these days. When will they stop!????. Blocked their number on mobile but they started landline phone or tried alternative numbers that looks similar.

Claimed to be county court in London. Apparently they were waiting to confirm all my details so they could release compensation cheque!
