1st call was a man asking for the managing director. I told, we were not interested and that I wouldn't connect. He was upset and said, that someone else would call later, and he would get to the manager anyway. 2nd call next day. As I am the one picking up the phone, I told him, that I knew who he was, and that even today he was not lucky. 3rd call next day. Same same... 4th call today... a lady, SOFIA, asked for the manager, I asked for more details and she answered angry, that I was keeping asking questions, but not answering hers... I told her, that she shouldn't call again... a waist of time! well waiting for the next call...

Here is a great way to handle these calls, first make a note of the CIA investigation # (or CSIS in canada) then politely tell the caller "I'm really interested, but this phone has been having a problem can you please call me on my other line so I can hear you clearly" I'll wait for your call ! !

at first I would answer the phone and they would ask for the manager (indian accent)- i told them I am the manager and we are not interested in calls- he wanted to get financial info. keeps calling back every day , twice a day. i never answer

Indian guy said he was from some big newspaper, needed to know if I did investments for their research. Told them I didn't and hung up. Now, 2 weeks later, I get called from +81 3 4589 5010 (Orixtrading.com) – this is probably connected. These people are the scum of the earth. I'm at my university now, DOS'ing both their website. Probably won't do much, but hey.

Said he was calling from WSJ for a survey. I asked him how he obtained my number, as it is unlisted. He answered that it had been obtained from Dun & Bradstreet. After the survey (a lot of questions about investments), he said there would be a follow up call after three weeks. After three weeks there was a new call from a man, claiming to call from Japan, saying that he wished to discuss investments. There was no caller ID this time and he immediately hung up when I said that this must be a scam.

This call center is very active in other countries also. It seems like the call center gets it's data over the COC. Most of the time they know who the CEO is (by name) and try to get hold of banking information.
