Foreign woman claimed she was calling from Watford and that she could end anymore nuisance calls. Wanted to know too much information, whether I had a BT landline or Sky and my age range etc, I told her I didn't think the information required was relevant to the service she was supposedly offering and terminated the call.

Called to ask which supermarket I shopped at. Told me she wanted to send a £10 voucher. I told her to send it. She asked for my address. I said if she actually obtained my contact details in a genuine manner then she should already have my address as I do not give information out. Couldn't tell me who they believed lived at this number or a postcode for my property and then hung up.

Try doing somethinf about it yourself if it bothers you enough to comment on here. I was also fed up with all the nuisance calls so bought a call blocker phone. After I had set it up the way I wanted it I've never been bothered with a single nuisance call as the call blocker system won't let the phone ring untill they identify themselves. They never do and hang up because they know they won't get an answer.
