An American guy asking if I use Sainsbury or Tesco for shopping. I pretended I couldnt hear him and kept saying "pardon" "I cant hear you" - very childish I know. In the end he knew I was taking the mick and told me to stop being silly! He put the phone down - so funny!

Asked for Mr X, when my wife is Ms X, but I am Mr Y. Said "not a selling call". When I said no time for survey, said not a survey. Asked me to confirm address, which she quoted correctly. I refused to confirm or deny. Asked for pronunciation of my first name - ie, she did not know it. Said would call me back when less busy.

Asked for someone who wasn't me, asked to verify an incorrect address, I said wrong number, she asked for my name in order to remove me, then started asking where is hoped. Hung up on her.

These people call frequently. I've used my call blocker to prevent them disturbing me but they keep trying. My number is listed with the TPS but they're ignoring that, which means they're criminals.

I receive calls from this number several times a day, every day, sometimes every half hour. Requests to stop calling are ignored, and I was told that they will stop calling if I co-operate and answer their questions. This suggests that the calls will continue if I don't. I believe this is harassment. Registering with the call preference service has not resolved the matter as I think it is from a foreign call centre which slips through the net.

Caller asked to speak to my husband when I asked who was calling he asked if I shopped at Waitrose or Tesco and said he was going to send me a shopping voucher. He seemed to have a lot of information about me, he said his sponsors would be in touch with me and when I said I hadn't heard of them he hung up
