called every other day for about 2 weeks, finally answered it. Woman new my name,which is concerning in itself, said she was doing a survey and it would take 1 minute. as soon as I asked her to stop bothering me she hung up.

Caller assured me she wasn't selling anything and it was a short survey lasting only one minute. I only got to tell her !NO, NO, NO" when she hung up! This is the second time this number has called. The first time it was +2036 and I blocked that on my mobile. This time it was 0236 so it got blocked too. The mobile blocks call "exactly like" calls so I guess this is why the second call got through. Unfortunately for people who get these calls on their land-line even though it may be X Directory and TPS as mine is, the calls are internet generated and the people making them are not subject to the rules in Britain which give a financial penalty to companies who persist in unwanted calls. (£1,000 for infringements) This person today had my name which is annoying but if you're on the Voting Register, they can get you on there. I've moved house, got a brand new land-line number X Directory and it has been mercifully silent from these nuisance calls. I used to get around 10 a day. I think they are getting our mobile numbers and names from the website of the online purchases we make. No peace anywhere in the digital age!

I have had several phones from this number and have asked them three times now not to call me again and still they call. How do we get them to stop calling !!!!!!!!

By all accounts the company is called the Verso group see link below http://www.versogroup.co.uk/about-us.html somebody further down has added this. I have just rung them, told them off!! and they have promised to remove my number from their database I would suggest you do too. Their number is 01582 763090

Received call 5 times within 3 days. No response when picked up the first couple of times so I didn't bother picking up again. Blocked it now. Hope some authority shuts them down.

It has been happening to me for several weeks now. When you pick up either you get silence or and Asian sounding man/woman at the other end. As soon as you ask them why are they calling they say nothing. They call my Mobile number first then call my Landline number. Sometimes they can call up to 3 times a day. It is very annoying I just hope you don't get charged for answering the call. Apparently the phone call is coming from Alexandria Egypt.

had these call for a few weeks now - normally a female with an Indian sounding accent who asks for the previous occupant of my home, who died over 10 years ago. Tired of the calls i've told then numerous times that she is dead which normally gives the prompt response of them hanging up on me. Fed up I've phoned them back which is answered by an American sounding recorded voice, i chose 'complaints' spoke to a man with an Indian accent explaining that my number should not be associated with the previous occupants and please remove me from their call list (did not give my name ofc) and he then went on to tell me that i should expect a call from a company telling me how to stop them from calling me!!! I was dumbstruck

Called every day this week. Ask for me by name but when I ask them to repeat who they are and where they are calling from the line seems to get bad that I can't hear. I end up putting the phone down. Have stopped answering now.

Received a few calls now. I'm always very careful about my personal info but they had my tel no maiden name and address I found this very alarming when I asked where they got it from I was told I had entered an online competition I said I hadn't and had to ask 4 times to be removed from the calling list. The woman I spoke to was extremely rude and laughing at my distress! I don't think they'll do it and fully expect more calls only this time I will be informing them that I'm recording the call and reporting them for harassment I'm sure they'll stop then! :)

They ring every day. We are Ex- Directory and TPS but it doesn't stop them. Not normally at home in the afternoon when they call, but was today. Gave them a right earful and funnily enough they hung up. Very satisfying!

The same people keep calling pretending to be different things after a few weeks a british caller will ask if you are recieving high amounts of nuisance calls and offer a paid service to get rid of them for u.its all a scam from the same people

This a company called Verso- they are paying an egyptian call centre. I assume it is these guys http://www.versogroup.co.uk/about-us.html I had several calls a day and have now spoken to somebody and hopefully will be removed
