Kept calling - finally answered and listened to the usual call centre jargon. After thinking about the process I agreed to have my pension reviewed and managed to find me a more suited pension so I could take some money out my policies. Thanks for your help

I don't understand the negative ratings for this number. I think people are so used to telemarketers that they don't listen to what they say. Basically, what they're doing is free, the company is certainly not dodgy because, like they'll tell you on the phone, the advisors that actually look at your pension are FCA regulated. Had mine reviewed, took 5 weeks, only spoke to lovely people, no pressure or anything. Didn't end up having to move anything but hey-ho.

Castlecroft Renshaw looked into my frozen Aviva pension and managed to find me a better return. Wasn't sure at first but after singing the paperwork the process only took 7 weeks.

This is in effect a lead generation service whereby IFAs will pay this company for leads. As previous comments have said their premise is updating you on changes to pensions, but when you ask them what those changes are they tell you that the Government have changed management fees which are now 5% and interest rates which are now 2%. I'm reasonably experienced in pensions and it frightens me that people with no experience can get sucked in by this sort of activity, which whilst not illegal is certainly misleading. Avoid.

I tried to get more out of them, who they were and how they got my number, asked some very indirect questions about pensions and ISA's when they knew I wasn't interested they try to ring off. Wouldn't answer direct questions about the source of the data base or whom they represented. My guess is they are trying to work out whether or not I'm worth selling to or passing on the data.

Seems to be some call center, I can see more similar numbers (all the same range - 020347644xx, just last 2 or 3 digits different) reported here already - in connection with pensions review mostly. No idea who is behind it, they left no message, no VM. I really don't answer unknown numbers, tried to dig some info about this number first on internet, but no luck so far. People did someone answer it?

I did answer it and got some woman asking if I paid into a pension, what sort and with who, she then wanted to know if I had an ISA, a will and life insurance so no doubt I will be getting spammed with calls trying to sell me those next, asked her to remove my number from her database and not to pass my information on and when I asked her where she got my number from said she couldn't say. At least she was English.
