I answered because I was expecting a call and got a very "down in the mouth" sounding Emma who wanted to ask me "only eight questions" about the General Election if it was convenient. I politely (it must be a thankless job...) declined but got the impression she was nearly in tears as a result (must have been a slow day with no one affording her any courtesy). I would have done, except I really was waiting for a call and was hard at work. Since then the same number has phoned another three times (yes, I can block the number on my iPhone but wanted to see if I had to). Hmmm...

Call centre acting on behalf of a number of organisations (Call centre) reported by Terry
It would appear that I was stupid enough to believe that by answering a few political questions this would stop these people calling me again. Since answering those questions 2 days ago I've received at least 7 calls from this number, 2 of which I managed to answer and have now asked them to remove me immediately from their calling list. No matter how motivated you feel to help these people out I would suggest that you don't do it as the repercussions are multiple calls from the same number but on behalf of other companies who you will most likely have no interest in. Definitely a nuisance number to avoid.

Just had a missed call from this number, but upon checking my call list from yesterday I found that this was a call I answered in the early evening. They were conducting a political survey. Not sure if this is their true nature or identity but this is the experience I've had from this number.

This number should be a landline from London - I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. On the other hand I am not the only one searching for this number - maybe some call centre? Did someone answer this number?

These people ring all times of day and night - when you ring back you get music on hold.. I am registered with tps but makes no difference shall report
