I was given an offer for my EE mobile bill and I told him I wasn't with EE. For this I got called a liar. I told him I knew this was a scam and got asked if I had a stick in my hand. He then followed that up with telling me to beat myself with it. He then asked if I had a knife so I asked for his name which is apparently Mark Lee and asked go speak to his supervisor which lead to him ending the call.

Spurious call from scammers pretending to be Carphone Warehouse, offering 'great deals on the new iPhone 13' - really poor reception, sounded a busy call centre, didn't address me by my name and there was a delay in connecting so they obviously are waiting to have numbers bite. Said I wasn't interested and blocked the number.

offering me 40% discount off contract due to Covid ... told him i look forward to getting it off my bill ... he said he has text me already ... i said i know ,,, its just come through ... he asked if i saw it i said yes ... he said well? ... i said thanks ... he said thats ok ... then i hung up ... he called again ... he said why did you hang up... i said because if you really want to give me adiscount thn you know all my details and will apply to my bill... i said thanks again ... hung up and blocked him :)

Got a call on my work phone which is with O2. Guy with an Asian accent claimed to be from O2 and I just disconnected the call. After googling it and seeing it was a scam I blocked the number.

they called my boyfriend and he looked confused so i took the phone and they were offering ''40%'' off of O2 bill every month.. i immediately got a text saying ''dont give code out to fraudsters and that if im on the phone to someone right now claiming they work for o2 they dont! hang up!'' so i messed around with them for a bit then told them to get a real job and stop scamming people!! they told me to f myself and hung up.

After having some fun with them they hung up. Worse scam call ever the background noise and poor English was definitely not o2 plus after I told them I wasn't the account holder they still tried to carry on then after I informed them of o2 data protection policy they hung up.

I had the exact same from this number. After I challenged the person with some data protection information he processed to become irate and tell me I'm wrong. I then told him that if his scam was to be successful he would need to be a little more intelligent. He promptly told me to go f**k myself and hung up.

I have had three calls now in the last few weeks from this number claiming to be from 02. Offering a 40% discount on my phone bill and an upgrade on my phone. They had reviewed my contract and l am apparently one of the lucky chosen customers being offered this great promotion. What is hilarious is l am with 3 and not 02. Each call is an Asian sounding man. It has call centre sounds in the background so l can see how some may easily fall for this kind of call. I never discus offers with cold callers. If they are genuine they can write to me they should have my address.....

Man rang up, very pushy claiming to be from O2 and offering me a 40% discount for customers who "pay well". I queried who it was and the man sent text messages to me from the same number other O2 texts had come from. This IS A SCAM, DO NOT GIVE ANY CODE, ANY DETAILS. I have blocked the number. BLOCK THE NUMBER!
