Exactly as example below. Trying to reach you. A court case against you is pending. Press 1 to talk to your case manager. I have heard of this from my brother who has also received this call. Total SCAM. I just hung up.

Automated call from this number telling me to press 1 to speak to case handler. Spoke to someone with incomprehensible foreign accent who had my name and address. Same story HMRC have a case against you.

Record Message: "We have been trying to reach you HMRC are bring a court case against you, Press 1 to talk to your case handler!" or words to that effect... Seriously, if HMRC wanted anybody they'd be at your door. After sending loads of manila envelopes!
