Had a new number. Only 6 people had this number as had not come to the end of my previous months minutes / data on my previous sim I updated my gumtree details and posted an add. 15 minutes later they cold call my mobile using the name connected to my gumtree account. I led them down the metaphorical garden path as I knew what they were up too (saying they had received my information from an insurance company about my accident). After I revealed I was wasting their time the foreign chap on the end of the phone got angry and swore at me several times.

Car accident claim center but i do not believe it is - they trying to guess what car and when - do not share details with them. It might be risky.

Seems to be some call center, I can see more similar numbers (all the same range - 016181881xx, just last 2 or 3 digits different) reported here already mostly with car accident chasers. No idea who is behind it, they left no message, no VM. I really don't answer unknown numbers, tried to dig some info about this number first on internet, but no luck so far. People did someone answer it? I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very useful for call centres). No problems.
