Claiming to be Telstra Australia IT support. Our computer was being hacked apparently. This is a scam. Cloud not confirm my account. They rang 3 times, would not stop calling back. I just ignored the calls.

This number keeps calling me in Australia on a business number that isn't listed. I have calling number display which helps with all the OVERSEAS type calls. The first time it called I answered with my business name and they hung up straight away (this was last week). Today they called and I answered just saying hello. I heard music then I asked questions and could just hear myself echo. When you call the number back, it is engaged. Anyone know who this is and why they are calling? Has to be a damn nuisance. Don't have time for these people!!!

Claimed to be from BT. Wanted to speak to the user of the computer. Hung up on them so they tried to call again. Probably trying to gain access you people's computer.

Have received calls from this UK number variously claiming to be the Microsoft or Telstra IT helpdesk and wanting access to my computer to fix a bug. It is a scam. Having been in the IT industry 25 yrs I have never heard of a Microsoft a free proactive help desk call. On the other hand Telstra Australia's largest telco in fact warns of these types of scams targetting ususpecting Australians. When asked for proof of identity such as my Telstra customer ID number the he took a guess including letters in fact Telstra uses only numbers. When tasked with this he said that I had to give him access. I don't think so. I hope this helps Regards Pierre

This number keeps calling, it has just called again at 7.30AM!!!! I do not answer any calls if I do not know who is calling. It is just so annoying and something should be done to stop this happening

This number calls me every hour. HUGELY annoying. If I let the answerphone pick up the call then it continues to beep and tell me to hang up the hand set until I press delete. If I answer they just hang up on me. I've tried calling the number back but it beeps three times then disconnects. Wish I could get in touch with them to give them a piece of my mind.
