Had a call from this number today pretending to be BT and warning me that my internet had been hacked. This is a well publicised scam to gain control of your computer. I listened for a while and then hung up.

Asian sounding voice said they were from BT and would be cutting off my broadband in an hour. When I said fine, do it, they rang off. I assume a scam, I still have broadband.

YES I AM SHOUTING Just getting dressed to go outside and I get this call half way through ying my bootlaces goodbye after a pause Can you imagine - Busy at the cooker and multitasking with a young child AND answering the call, getting involved and child gets burnt at STOVE OR SET HOUSE on fire ( Chip Pan ) - and then Its MY FAULT for being distracted by a Robot Scam caller - Call Centre operator encouraged aka sponsored by Government etc.......
