O2 are scamming their own customers. (Service) reported by


I was billed for 4 calls for this number and another similar number having not called them or received a call either. No call entries were on my log. I called O2 to complain about being billed for numbers I didn't call and they said they'd investigate and refund if the complaint held up. After searching the www I have found information relating to customers of 02 calling O2's 4digit number relating to content control and that when customers have called it to change their privacy settings, they have been charged 55p/min access fee for calling it. This ties in perfectly with my privacy control calls to O2 on the billed date in question. And I will be caring O2 back in about... 30 seconds. And for what it's worth.. the content control call didn't even work, in that, my privacy and content settings were not changed.

It’s o2! Showed up as a different number on my phone. 61018 it’s the number they tell you to ring when content control suddenly pops up on your phone without asking for it. They don’t tell you they charge for it though!!! ???? I’ll be ringing them in a min telling them to wipe it! Since it was nothing to do with me
