I received a call from this number today and as soon as I heard the robot voice I hung up. Shortly after I had an "Out of Area" call from Homeguard Direct offering to block nuisance calls for £5 a month. I declined as I know Homeguard is a scam organisation. During the afternoon on the same day I received 4 more calls from 08437240862. I don't think this was a coincidence!

I am not sure how they can even get hold of a newly installed phone to which even I dont properly remember the phone number. Thankfully it was my workdesk number and I was called at about 6.50pm

Get a call from this number on my land line 3-5 times a day and for approx 1month now . If I pick up there is no answer but call frequency is increased so. I can only assume that they want you to call back so they make money from your call, I'm sure there is some on the other end of the phone as I've heard breathing. I just don't answer any more.... I sure the people making the call are getting paid perhaps even don't realise that their getting paid for something that is making our lives a misery, I'm pretty damp sure that the owners of the business know what there doing and should be shut down for dishonest training. Rant over JUST BLOCK THEM

These people dared to call at 11:02 on 11th November 2014 - to them making money is more important than remembering those who gave their lives for their country - even when it is the one hundredth year anniversary. Reveille had not yet finished when they phoned. Disgusting puts it mildly. I plan to find out who these people are and pass on that info to anyone who will listen

Money trap (Call centre) reported by


There are few similar numbers reported on these pages as a nuisance, scam and unsolicited bank services or just a recorded message (in this case be aware, this should be a trap to make you call them back - line is for shared costs!)... sometimes connected with the Pension review team, which can also be only a call centre working for them: 08437240459, 08437240463 and 08437240470 - see all of them same call centre 084372404xx and all for shared costs, so I assume this is good working money trap... And as can be seen this call centre is working on a bit wide range of numbers : +448437240xxx, so be aware if this range calls you. Don't call them back, the line is for shared costs...
