WARNING to small businesses; I just received a call from an individual claiming to be approving artwork for an advert in their publication. I have had this attempted before, and it is a SCAM. Please beware if you receive such a call, DO NOT confirm or give agreement to anything. In this particular instance they were given away by a horrible line reception and a child crying in the background. I feel sorry for those who take up this work which they may believe to be genuine. I hope those responsible at the top find karma biting them in the a** soon enough! And I have reported the dialling number to the Trading Standards in hope it helps karma along.

They have changed tactics, you now get a call saying you have been entred into a lifestyle survey a chance to win an ipad or £250 of shopping vouchers. If accept press 2 and someone will call you back in the next 24 hours. obviously a scam to find out if you have had a loan, credit card, a car accident, a packaged bank account, anything to make your data worth while to sell on or use as a claims, management company.

Ha ha the news that r being discussed for cold calling will put a few of you so called telesales. Call day and night around 25 calls plus rude and have asked them nice to stop at lest 39 time and still they ring and sometimes as soon as I've put down the phone getting very cross now as I've never had any credit of any kind so would never be making a claim 4 pip. So why do they like wasting there money on calls to me if this number call me again I will be taken it too the police u might a company but you can still be done 4 stark in under harassment laws.
