Owed money by Barclays, NatWest, jibberjabber. On a phone that's ex-directory and never handed out (we have multiple lines and this one is reserved for emergencies), so they're using random dialling. Which is illegal, but who's going to penalise them? See https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/guide-to-pecr/automated-calls/ To report them to the ICO: https://ico.org.uk/concerns/marketing/31/ but unless plenty of people do this it would seem the ICO are toothless wonders.

As soon as I heard Barclays & NatWest I hung up as I have no accounts with these banks. I've added the number to a list by the phone so that I can ignore it and let my answering machine deal with it.

Call claims there is a refund due on my bank account - they state Barclays / Natwest. Haven't pressed any options given as unlikely this is a genuine call.

Voice message call which claimed to be about banking. Later went to say, press 5 to stop these messages. I think that is the whole scam, I think if I press 5, they will probably charge £100 onto my phone bill.

I receive a call from these at least 4 times a week. I have pressed 5 to speak to someone on a couple of occasions, when they answer i ask to be removed they don't say anything and simply hang up. They are really beginning to annoy me, companies like this need to be shut down.

This is some sort of telemarketing agency providing Debt Relief services, promising to wipe out 70% of one's debts. An automate message goes off on answering the call which states, press 9 to be taken off the list or press 5 to talk to an adviser.

Wish they would stop calling!! They are relentless. We just keep hanging up but they dont care for a start we told them we had signed up to the telephone preference service but they just ignore it
