Laptop had pop ups with this number and another London one too 020 8144 2825 On the phone for 1hr 25 mins the man said he from Microsoft and was actually in my computer as soon as he asked for payment starting from £99 up to £349.99 I ended the call. The web site he was asking me to make payment on was called sunnywebs.com/uph ........ What a joke!!! He was actually controlling my laptop from where he was!!!

Think I have just been add then because I had the same message come up on my computer, I rung it thinking it was legit how can people do this I did not give then any details over the phone

Same experience as Starman. A pop-up message on the screen purporting to be from Microsoft claiming that a virus needed to be fixed and to phone this number. Unfortunately I fell for it and am now starting the process of seeing what I can do to get my money back, which I suspect will not be successful.

I had the pop up and contacted the number woman went on my PC for 40 minutes then offered my a further service from a technical person. I declined and she just let me go. I contacted The Geek Squad who looked through my PC but found nothing.

Please help got this virus I phoned the number but new there was something up straight away and I told the guy would check he was from Microsoft and get bk to him my son has somehow got this virus and I don't no how to get rid of it please help me
