Called trying to help with previous scam call , I did not call them first - wanted to download a mirroring app on my phone.

They tried to get me to transfer £4500 to a new account as mine had been compromised. This was done via fake covid text. These scammers are very good. Don’t give any details over the phone. Hang up and call your bank direct.

On the back of a false NHS text these people had received my details, man rang and asked initially professional questions however the third question was what's your banking id for online banking and give me three numbers out of the five, then asked for the other two as if I had a mistake. Googled the number, this number has called people to scam them told the guy on the phone he was a scammer shouted at me and said if you give me 500 I'll let you keep the rest, straight to santander and all accounts blocked.

Yes. This definitely a scam. Same thing happened. They tried to get me to transfer £4500 to an account

Call to say suspicious activity on my account, gave details about Direct debits being set up today (untrue). Call asked me to verify phone number by putting it into google and I was directed to Santander customer service website. I was told someone had most probably installed some kind of tracker onto my phone to steal my login info. When I challenged them as to how exactly this would be done the caller started to get frustrated. I was asked to log into my Santander App but when I refused and asked for more info they simply hung up. The caller seemed to know all my basic info and at first did sound legitimate, luckily I did not give any info to the caller.
