Thames Water, sent me a final notice bill on an acct I never made. My water was all in with my rent and I live in Norfolk now, and I have a water meter so I have an Anglian water acct. I moved out of London a yr ago, and my estate didn't have water bill acts or water meters!! Shysters on the rob, who put you on hold while they go to lunch!

Heavily indebted. They are desperately scraping at the barrel. On the verge of bankruptcy. They did not spend on infrastructure, instead dumping high pollution in rivers whilst they choose to pay their huge profits out on massive dividends and mega executives' salaries.

They said they were the Thames Water Company. It was a call center with a lot o noise in the background. The communication was interrupted by them. No progress in the call everytime they call me.

I received a call from a woman claiming to be from TW, when I told her I did not know my account number off the top of my head she said, "You can disconnect the line now." A search for this number later and I found it was not at all connected to TW and that others had been called by it. DO NOT PASS ON ANY DETAILS TO A NUMBER THAT CALLS YOU OUT OF THE BLUE UNLESS YOU CAN CONFIRM ITS ORIGIN, EVEN THEN I WOULD ASK TO CALL THE COMPANY NUMBER AND HANG UP.

Claimed to be Thames water and asked for full address, dob and last 3 digit of mobile...He told he was calling me as I have some outstanding amount of 97 in my account, I told him it can't be possible as I pay be DD. He told yes he see that but this may be old balance and asked me to pay. I told him I will call Thames water directly for that he told I can also pay online while he waits in the phone. I told him I don't need him to be on the phone while I check my account online and I disconnected the call.

The lady i spoke with said that i was in some arrears regarding my monthly payment which is true and that was the reason she called me, she then claimed she had to go through security questions with me which i did and at the end she wanted me to make a payment so i told her NO i would never ever paid any money over the phone to anyone not in a million years that will ever happen, and she just said ok which ever way you want to pay you can but please do because it can affect my credit score in the future.

received a text message to call Thames water. It was regarding late mother's property who passed away a year ago. They wanted my name date of birth and current address to send correspondence . I provided that but did not know why and how they obtained my mobile number. I was the executor of my late mother's will. Now I know it is a scam. Very distressed. happy to provide my name and address if it helps to stop this.
