I was contacted from this number scary because I did have delayed flights the text said we were owed £540 I knew this was not true and Google docs the phone number thank you

Had an elderly lady came into my shop to ask me about these calls and texts that she keeps getting from this number on her mobile. A mobile given to her by her family, for safety purposes. Having checked this out for her, I discovered exactly the same texts as is repeatedly mentioned below - regarding flight refunds from 2012 for a sum of £540. She asked me for advice about it as she had never been on a plane in her life. My advise, this is a scam - unscrupulous individuals undoubtedly trying to obtain bank details on the proviso of paying out £540. Ignore and delete!

Exactly the same SMS as everyone else. Oddly enough, none of the flights we have taken in the last five years have been more than a few minutes late.....seems they know otherwise ! So, assuming that they do, isn't it a criminal offence in breach of Date Protection laws to hold information on me without my permission ?
