Caller impersonated my bank fraud department (Scam call) reported by Claire
My bank account had been compromised but the bank had already realised this and had taken action to stop transactions going through. At the same time as automated text messages were legitimately coming from the bank asking me to authenticate transactions the scammers calling from 03456 100101 were trying to get me to move money around my accounts and reveal one time pass codes which would have authenticated the fraudulent transactions. I was called initially by a young woman who then passed me to a young man. Both sounded plausible and professional. I was tired and nearly got caught out but fortunately did not reveal any details which would have compromised me. In the end he hung up on me having got nowhere. The worst thing that happened was the banishing a new debitcard. Never reveal passwords or OTP information to anyone ever!

potential scam call supposedly from First Direct Bank. having checked with them on a different number (and phone) I was told to treat it as a scam call
