pretend to be TSB and ask for personal information - no verification that they are TSB and in response to scam accusation they say "but all calls are recorded" - So?? how does that prove who they are.

EON Payment final bill (Scam call) reported by Marie
Received a call from Daniel Skeen (if that's his name) said that he was from EON and that our final bill was due for payment, which it is. I said I was unable to log into my account to download the invoice, he promptly emailed the invoice over to me, all seemed legit until he offered me a discount if I was to pay the bill immediately! That's when alarm bells went off. Fobbed him off and called EON direct (I googled the number) spoke to a lovely woman (Sandra) who told me it was definitely a scam and not only would he have got £750 from me, I would still owe EON that money AND the scum would have my bank card details. I would really like to take this matter further but the lady said little could be done. This has really rattled me, as I'm super cautious about these things, but he very nearly had me! It's getting to the stage where you can't trust anyone, very sad. I hope my experience helps

FAKE EON SCAM (Robocall) reported by Anonymous
number claiming to be eon. keep sending texts saying my account is in debt and I owe them money, even though I don't have an Eon account. Extremely frustrating as this number calls at least 3x a day and leaves voicemails and sends texts. I've blocked the number but they still leave voicemails every single day

Received text asking me to call number urgently to pay EON bill (I don't have an account with EON). A fake call centre is in the background, same person always answers and asks for account details. The second time I called I made up a number, which she accepted and then asked for my bank details to take payment...

Similar numbers are reported with call centre working for EON electric. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing, no luck. People pls did someone answer this number, who is it?
