I rang a different phone number from my old records, they have never phoned or sent me a text and that is not one of their phone numbers, take care this looks very genuine

This is a GENUINE M&S number. Phone the number on the back of your card and check for yourself. I did. I don't work for M&S but I should think they are quite annoyed with people jumping to conclusions then posting them here as fact. Stating that M&S never send text messages is false. Another case of 'Proof by Repetition'! Just phone them and ask.

I got a text saying my name and i should call M&S bank on the number listed and it seemed odd so I called the number on the back of my credit card instead and M&S had no record of a text being sent to me. Don't call the number given, check the correct number online or on your card and call that if you want to confirm.

this is the correct number for m&s bank - its not a scam at all.. its the number to call back the collections department of M&S Bank.. i called them back on the general numbe ron the back of my card 0345 9000 900..i'd missed a payment.. they confirmed that is a number belonging to them!!

Received a txt msg from "M&S Bank" which included my full name and asked to call this number. Checked the number, not listed on M&S website, so was wary and refused to give details. M&S confirmed it is not one of their security numbers, and no txt msg had been sent from M&S.
