Have had a number of calls from 0333 443 2931 which just rang off when not picked up after a few rings. On two separate occasions a female - young sounding - informed me my washing machine warranty had expired. I explained that I purchased my washing machine some fifteen years previously and they please stop calling and remove me from their call list. Call was cut. I have been called twice to my knowledge since then.. As they do not leave an answer phone message they may have called more often than that.

They keep insisted my washer out warranty I knew it was scammer but play along with him he ask for bank card details so can renwe policy asp I said is this Hotpoint and I said no your a scammer on which he hung up I sent them text and system won accept it kind knew that then phon them back got it you just put on hold then he hangs up

They called me to advise that washing machine cover has expired and would like me to renew it. when I told them that i had already been contacted regarding this,they hung up. I rang the number back and waited to be connected as I was in a queue and after 5 minutes a voice said ''goodbye'' then line went dead. FUMING!!!

Tried to get me to 'renew' non-existent washing machine insurance (Scam call) reported by


The caller rang on my landline, using my first name and my house-name (which they could have got from phone book), told me my washing-machine insurance had just expired and they could renew it. Said they were from "Aftercare". Immediately suspicious as machine well over 10 years old (and in fact broke a long time ago and I certainly wasn't aware of any insurance on it!). Started to tell me direct debit terms but it would be cheaper if I paid the first year in advance. At this point I disconnected the phone and checked the caller-number online, and it came up on several scam sites, including this one. They hadn't left a message when I reconnected phone.

Called to speak to my wife, there isn't one ! Then told me my washing machine warranty was about to run out. I told them it hasn't had any warranty for the last 8 years, so they hung up. Twats.
