These con artist are getting crafty. They have trawled your online profile or been sold your details by someone who has access to your work/employment/business records. Ring to advise they are from your Life Insurance provider and that your policy needs updating due to your recent work circumstances changing. You are encouraged to ring back on their "UK National standard rate number" - LIE, and that call cost will be astronomical. Do NOT answer the call (as others here have warned) and do not under any circumstances call back! They are based abroad and not governed by our Regulations, Ex-Directory, Call Preference Service, etc., so you'll not see the money back or be able to take any action. They rang me on a private unpublicised special number, that is not available to the public, so they picked on the wrong victim this time, and I tore them a new one! They have probably obtained your details from your mobile 'phone services provider.

Scam attempting to review life insurance. I wasted their time for 7 minutes before they twigged and hung up, I did this 3 or 4 Times and have not had a call since. I told them I was in a car crash and my head fell off but I'd like to insure my carers life for 25million on a 1000 year contract.
