Trid to sound professional. Wanted me to review my pensions said it was not a sales call. I asked him to remove my number from call base. He said it is not a sales pitch. Then called me thick! I don't need any pension Review as I am in a superannuated scheme...so actually it was a sales call.

Called several times today. They had my name and number and claimed (fraudulently) that they were paid for by the pensions industry and acting on behalf of the financial regulator to help people understand if their pensions are underperforming. I asked how they got my number, and they didn't know. I then asked for their website, so that I could understand more about them. They said it was pensionreviewcentre.com which doesn't exist. They're a scam. Don't give them personal information.

Just got a call from this number today a woman claiming to be from Pension Review Scheme and claiming to review my pensions according to a government scheme that is free. Asked question whether I have a private Pension or work Pension and for how long? I wasn't sure if it was a bogus call or not as I've heard something about Pension Review on TV before (I think) and I needed one done as my Pensions not doing so great, so, I naively answered. Already had my name and number just took my address to send over a courier for me to sign a document and to show ID and policy number. When I said, “how did you get my number”? Replayed with, “this isn't my department”! Which I found it strange. When I called back to check up. I get an American male recorded message, saying, “your call is important to us and will be answered by the next available agent”. After five minutes on hold the call ends. Rang again and it's the same thing. I hope it's not too little too late with the information they have and I will NOT sign and pass on details of my Pension when the courier nocks. I've called my Pension provider not to amend my policy.

I get a call every day from this number - claims to be "Pension Review Centre". Oh how I would love to know where they trade from and meet the guy I just spoke with. He finished the call by saying "I'm still a bastard" and hung up......................5 minutes in a closed room with him, that's all I would need!

This is a cold call from something calling itself "Pensions Review Centre" and they have your name. They want to encourage you to take your money from your pensions under the new legislation. As a pensions expert I would not recommend you listen to them - they will only explain one of several options available. Talk to a financial adviser if you are over 55 and interested in what you can do.
