Prestige. Claimed to be an affiliate of EE and could help me upgrade. First guy was very nice and knew his products, then passed me to another who was less professional and did not like me questioning him on who they were, if they were officially able to work with EE and that I wanted to research them before talking further. I can't say if it is a scam or not.

Claimed they was calling from Tom's life insurance they didnt sound right at all on the phone, hung up and blocked the number and googled it as they just seemed suspicious.

Called and said they were calling regarding my EE contract, then hung up (presumably trying to get me to call back). I then received a text later claiming that my account will be suspended as they cannot verify my billing details (my bill already came out today so clearly not legit).

The said they were from SSE business energy about debt (Debt collector) reported by


A guy told me he was from SSE business energy and trying to recover a debt. He told me an amount which was half of what I actually owe them. When I questioned that he said that it was a discount because of Covid. He was very pushy and wanted me to pay the full amount immediately. I asked for the account reference number and he could not provide the correct number. I ended the call but they were very persistent. I have had over 30 calls in the last few days from them. I will now block the number based on other reviews I’ve read on here also.
