Asking for British gas bill, had post code of bill. When I said it was sorted, heard a giggle and "Staurt" Sait it showed zero. So why call. Alarming scam.

Not knowing who was calling, I answered. The caller said where she was calling from, although I couldn't make out what she said as it was unrecognisable. They then cut themselves off mid conversation. I am a bit annoyed as I wanted to speak with British Gas about my debt, but I do not intend paying for the call. As I have been advised not to speak to debt collectors, but only with the supplier themselves, I guess I might be better to write to them. Ignore these debt collecting charlitans.
