says he's from O2 gave me details of a new phone package and just assumed I was going to change,had a job getting him off the phone, he says he's going to call back tomorrow,number is now blocked so I don't think so!!

Someone pretending to be from O2 trying to offer me a 'deal'. The reception was very poor so I hung up and blocked the number

The person knew my name because I had used O2 Wi-Fi hot-spots in the past (I believe this to be true). He then went on to tell me I could get a great deal with O2, I told him that I wasn't interested. He asked why wasn't I interested, I said I had a perfectly good deal at the moment. He then asked me what was the deal I had, I said that I wan't interested and was ending the call. I then ended the call.

They called me claiming to be O2. Said I qualified for discount off a phone because I had used their WiFi hotspot (which I hadn’t I don’t connect to any WiFi hotspots outside of my home I just use my data). Nuisance call!
