Anytime I get these calls I feel really suspicious. They wanted to discuss my life insurance decreasing mortgage. Wanted to know finances how much I have left to pay on my mortgage, and was surprised that I wasn't able to pull the figure out of the air... whilst at work??? They said they will call me back tomorrow which will likely be whilst I am at work again! I will just block but then they ring on a different number, my block list is longer than my contacts list.

Told me they were from Legal & General to review my Life Insurance. Got my name wrong and tried to find out what type of policy I had and was I looking for more cover. I said no but to email me with what they were looking for. Immediately hung up! No email - what a surprise

Advised they were working for a number of insurance companies as a middle man. couldn't tell me anything about the policy, got all info from me (all false on purpose) and then passed directly to a consultant who would lower my monthly premiums or get me more benefits. Hung up and they rang me straight back!
