Made a claim against me that fraud had taken place / scam (Scam call) reported by


Answered the call was put through to a robot who then asked me to press 1 . Pressed one was in contact with a human ( foreign speaker ) told them I’m not sharing info as I don’t trust the call . They read my name old address to me and said I had committed income tax fraud . I asked how and then they hung up . It wa suspicious from the start .

Fake claim from criminals pretending to be HMRC threatening an arrest if you don't pay up. First of all, HMRC cannot warrant an arrest, such cases would require a written notification from HMRC addressed to the individual. Then the case can go to go to court if the individual does not comply. Please ignore and DO NOT DIVULGE ANY PERSONAL DETAILS including your name if a human then picks up the call after the robocall.
