Woman said she was from BT and she needed to fix my pc. So I said ok and waited. She asked if I had switched on.No I said I haven't got a computer she then said F****** **** and slammed her phone down.

Four times within 2 hours, first 2 claimed to be from BT Open Reach and when I told them I was not with BT they said I was because all internet went through BT (do they think we're think or something), I told them I didn't believe them and they threatened to cut off my internet connection. I told them to do so if they could, they hung up. When I questioned this again on the second call they got very abusive and then just hung up once again. we'd think they would get the message. But no, an hour later got another call saying that they were Virgin Media, has I am with VM I asked them to verify my account details, they claimed they could not do this for security reasons, so asked for a name and number so I could call back (Mark S. on 08408020two3) then I hung up to check the number, but with no intention of calling back as it's a blatant scam. 10 minutes later yet another call, gave his name as Danny from Virgin Media, I once again asked for a full name and number to call back on. This time gave his name as a Jack S on 02085688zero0, I questioned this and told him he'd just said his name was Danny and was Mark S. who rang 10 minutes ago his brother as you sound a lot like him, he got abusive and said he was going to cut off my internet service using some very colourful language then hung up. I will contact BT and VM with a report about and post in other like forums.

Number called 10 times eventually I answered and was told by a foreign sounding woman that they worked with bt openreach and that my pc was sending reports over the network that there was a virus on my pc. I know that my pc is not sending reports or anything else. The woman next went on to ask if I was by the pc. I responded that no I was not by my pc and that police would be informed at that point the woman responded with yeah yeah your a liar and hung up. They have since now called again a further time as I write this but this time called was silent
