This is obviously a prerecording re car accident. ****. (Robocall) reported by


Call came in on my mobile, I picked up, there was a delay before "Lydia Skylark" (obv a robot voice) said I had had a car accident (I think I would know, right?!), at which point I hung up. Important to remember these companies can record your voice and use for voice recognition purposes. Hang up immediately.

This number comes up as 1 Oak Homes Ltd, which appears to be a construction company in Southend. On the Companies House website it shows accounts are overdue and the company is proposed to be struck off. The scammers seem to have taken their phone number. I checked here before answering, and will now block the number as spam.

Don't answer! The lady was insisting I had been in a car accident (I haven't) and she was persistent. She hung up when I requested my details be removed from their database.

Some company apparently called Skylark. Told me I was in a car accident recently (I wasn't). Asked where they had got my number from and was told from the Road Traffic Accident database! What a load of timewasting scammers!

They rang this morning, I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognise. My phone came up saying it is a spam call. Blocked the number straight away
