Placed an ad on gumtree yesterday and was called at 08:30 this morning. I picked up, heard all the sounds of a call centre before being asked if he was speaking to the 'owner of the business' after I'd already said he was through to my company. I asked him what he wanted and he had the cheek to tell me he was requiring about my services but he was going elsewhere before he hung up! My clients cal during my business hours and start enquiring after hearing they're through to my company, not the owner - pull the other one!

I placed an advert on gumtree and wrote at the bottom of the advert "strictly no canvassers" but they still rang. offering google ad words. He even said if I made a £10 deposit he would reserve google ad words until I was ready to start advertising. I said NO a number of times but he still kept going.
