wanted to speak to business owner, called themselves uk&energycouncil. Said we were overcharged during lockdown and we are due compensation. Asked him to hold on while I googled them, caller became anxious, wouldn't give me a phone number so that I could call him back. Total scam (foreign accent) He got shirty and said he wasn't going to talk to me if I didn't believe him, Busted!! LOL

They called and asked to speak to a business owner. I said that they needed to speak to head office and they hung up. Called them back to ask the name of the business they kept hanging up. they rang and asked to speak to a manager the guy changed his voice, which then he admitted then hung up

Called me 4 times. Claimed to be some kind of uk council and that I had been overcharged on electric. I asked what company they called .. they came out with a different company. I hung up. 4th call onwards.. they claim there's been a complaint etc. Told them to remove my number. Stop them to stop calling me. They kept over talking and arguing with me and kept repeating what company I was from...

Called many times. Claimed To be from uk energy council and that I was being overcharged. I'm actually part of a 'best deal at any time' sort of group. I said I wasn't interested and he was very rude. He continued to call, I pretended to be a member of staff to see what he would to ( Malik hamza) and he tried to trick me into giving my mobile number out. I tried calling the number back to put an end to it and got a voicemail. Final conversion I explained that is looked the number up on line, wasn't interested in changing my energy provider, and asked him To stop calling. He said something I couldn't quite distinguish then hung up. Advice- say you've looked him up on line and aren't interested.

A foreign guy told us he could get us out of our energy contract when we said no thanks he told us to go to helll!!! We phoned back to complain and it's just a American lady answer phone
