Scam (Scam call) reported by G. Coles
Said they were sending books to local schools as part of child safe campaign and asked which local school I would like books sent to. I said I didn't deal with any local schools and they could send books anywhere they liked as long as it didn't cost me any money. He then said 'but you agreed to sponsor the books', I said I never had. He replied, 'I have a verbal contract with you, last time I spoke to you, I recorded it as evidence'. I replied that I have never agreed to sponsor anything connected with you. Again he claimed that I had verbally and he had a recording and that I owed money for the books. I suggested that he forwarded me the evidence as I wasn't paying any money whatsoever as I considered it to be a scam. He then hung up.

So I get this call and they are pushing the issue "we spoke 6 months ago and your business agreed to sign up to support our campaign" - looking to sign me up into varying "support deals" all utter tosh and nonsense. Block this number and do yourself a favor

Trying to get you to pay for an advert that you haven’t taken out (Scam call) reported by Rich
The company go by the name of BSP or Br safe promotions and say that they want to send you a certificate in the post for helping with a school campaign, they then phone you about a month later saying you owe for advertising in their magazine. I told them that I hadn’t agreed to any advertising then a few months later they call you again pretending to be high Court enforcement officers and that the case has been taken to court. It’s all a big scam
