Phoned to tell me that they understood that I had had an accident that was not my fault. Not true. I asked where this information came from and was put onto a supervisor (to my surprise as this response usually results in them putting the phone down) He said that the information came from the 'Road Traffic and Accident department' I said that I would google that organisation but asked them to confirm what information they had. They rang off at that point.

Recorded message saying you have been in a car crash, I answered yes & was transferred to a person, asked for the company name & was told Terrace Advice Services which I cant find when I Google. I have asked them repeatedly to remove me from their lists but they just ignore, yet another number I need to block!!!

Woman said she was from Terrick Group (or something like that). She had been told I was in an accident that wasn't my fault. When I said I hadn't recorded voice said I would be removed from their database. I will now report to Telephone Preference Service or Information Commissioners Office as everyone should to get these calls stopped

Said 'Hello Mr, I'm from Solictors...' in an asian accent and I terminated the call. They did'nt know my name probably as these type of calls usually ask for some other surname. Registered with TPS but it doesn't stop them, if I'm correct this is a London number so they are breaking the law but they could just be number spoofing or whatever they call it. TPS has no effect on calls from outside the UK. On another site someone said they were trying to sell 'trading' ie: stocks and shares etc. I say to anyone who may be elderly, anxious or have trouble dealing with these things just answer and if you dont know who it is dont be afraid to just put the phone down. I have to do it all the time as our number must be on some kind of list which I trace back to putting the number into comparison websites years ago. I never give my number out to websites now and you don.t have to even if it forces you just put a random non telephone number in ie: 0180000000000 etc.
