I was called from this number, India man and he told me I must to pay 1200£ because my insurance number it’s used for fraud. I explained everything and I told him I don’t do nothing fraud and he told me I must to pay £1200 for the court if not I will be arrested. Where can I report this fake numbers?? Should I go to police, they call me every month... I don’t understand what i must to do in this case

First they told that I have to pay 1986 pounds because of tax evasion, then they told me that it's 1286 and if I not pay it immediately, they file the case to the court and I can be charged 20-25k pounds fine. They had only my number, I don't remember the name of the person I was speaking to. It was poor phone connection plus the man spoke in broken English.

A foreign man rang me from a mobile with poor signal, rang back on this number claiming to be Michael Brown from HMRC to state claims against me by HMRC for tax evasion and requesting immediate payment of £2986 or a warrant for my arrest would be served. I told him he was the one committing illegal activity and he hung up!

I received a telephone call, they stated in broken English I owed £900 in unpayed tax, that there was an arrest warrant in my name and I had to go to court. They asked me did I have a solicitor for court ? That they were about to sign the arrest warrant unless I paid the outstanding money - it struck me then that his was a fraud and I informed them I would report it to the Police.

Person pretending to be from HRMC, mentioning tax evasion (about 1999£, to pay in 2 instalments). His (false) name was Kevin McCardy (ID 417J2742). They faked the telephone number because it appeared to be the same one as that indicated on the HRMC website, but it was clear it was a scam. Don't be afraid of hanging up the call!! Don't send them money

Total fraud. Trying to sound very professional but barely can speak English.. telling me I could be charged 45k £ penalty and 3 years in prison, for not paying taxes. And if I wanna drop this case they have to remove me from “black list” have to pay 1640 £ now.
