Scam. Robot. Accident that wasn't your fault. Funny story: This number called me but it was first a robot. It asked me if I was in an accident that wasnt my fault. I answered "Yes" and was put throught to a real person. Some guy with an Indian accent answered. I said to him "I am on the 'Telephone Preference Service' list so it is illegal for you to call me" he wasn't too happy and we started to banter. He said "I know it is illegal to call you but why you answer yes to message?" he also started to say "You don't even speak english!"... Says the Indian guy who called someone born and lives in England :) This resulted in him hanging up on me. This made my day.

I never state my name and immediately ask who is calling, on who's behalf and where they got my details. The lady passed me on to her male colleague. Who said they got my details from the car traffic accident department. I question why they would send them any information. I also stated I have not given any permission to anyone to use my personal data or pass it on. He then mentioned something about my personal data being secure (hmm) and mentioned something about my car insurance. I ask what car accident they are referring to as they obviously have received all this information about me. It was difficult to make out the names, the company (claims investigation company) - he then asked why I was not happy and I explained I had no interesting sharing any of my personal information, nor have I given anyone permission to do so. Frankly, as far as I am concerned they are cold calling. The line then went quiet. I would have asked more about my accident.
