Initially the caller refused to speak to my wife while I was out. He rang back and asked how I was today - always a sign it is a nuisance call. When challenged as to the fact the call was unsolicited I was told ‘That’s not how the world works’. 'I’m calling to make you money'. Caller continued to be persistent. I told him to stop wasting my time and hung up. I can deal with this sort of call, but there are many others likely to be duped. reported them to the Telephone Preference Service - very easy to do online.

But I looked it up and they are this dreadful bogus trading company. I think I know who these people are. They sell totally pointless overpriced courses on how to trade from home. A total scam basically. I have put myself on the Telephone preference service so they are knowingly in breach of that regulation. And if anybody tells you that they want to sell you some software to help you trade with £3000 trust me it's completely bogus. I've seen this scam before. I think I may be attracting this number because I went to a business exhibition full of very nasty Internet marketing scam people.

The usual telemarketing smooth approach. (Telemarketer) reported by Graham
The caller failed to reveal the true nature of his call. When asked to come to the point, he became rude & aggressive. I replaced the receiver. The 'phone rang again immediately after and I ignored it. Then, I traced the number of the caller which was 'this' telesales/marketing company. Clearly, it swerves around the Telephone Preference Service, to which I subscribe, by inferring that they are not a telesales/marketing Company making unsolicited calls. (Footnote: This was the first inbound call received, minutes after returning home with my wife who had been hospitalised. BEWARE OF THIS LOT!)

Very rude and dismissive of me. Asked for my husband who unsurprisingly was at work. Kept asking when he would be back. Spam caller who seems to have got our number from somewhere. Hung up and he called back twice more.
