This is the phone number listed on Amnesty International UK's official website. I get infrequent phone calls from Amnesty International that I consented to receive, they have not asked for any personal information, only asked if I was still happy to receive communications by various methods and if I was still happy to go forward with my scheduled donations.

To all those people leaving here negative ratings and claiming it's another scam: I'm not sure if they had been doing things differently in the past, but I remember opting into phone calls and the intention of contacting me about marketing was clearly stated. Leaving a negative review to a non-profit organisation harms their reputation and it seems completely unwarranted in this case.

I tried to call back when they hung up just to give them a chance to be open but it went to voicemail, I see from the other reviews its probably a scam, Blocked.

"Amnesty International UK respects your right to privacy and your ability to choose how you hear from us. We do not sell your details to anyone. We do not make cold telephone calls to members of the public and we do not purchase information in order to do so." This is directly from their website so this caller pretending to be from Amnesty is most likely FAKE

That might well be. But they use agencies to act on their behalf for fundraising. That's not - technically - cold calling then.
