Missed call, I can see reviews stating they're from an employment agency, however on checking my voicemail it was a 4 minute long recording of a victorian style nursery jingle on repeat. Done some digging, do not answer calls from this number. They're not who they or others claim them to be.

I have had to use Avance Consulting in the past to get a contract role in IT in well known "Blue" banking company. Unfortunately most of the callers do have difficult to understand accents. This time was no different and the female caller had a very strong Indian accent and I could barely understand her, but she was trying to offer me a new contract role.

Woman with strong accent did know my first name and kept asking if it is me. I asked several times who is calling and why. The name of the company was unclear and after I learned it is about job opportunity. It was really weird behavior for job recruit so I hung up.

I hung up on the call by mistake. It was followed up by an email offering a job from: http://www.avanceservices.com/ As the job was not local to me I did not respond. I will leave it up to you if you think this is genuine. They do have an office in India according to their website. But so do many companies these days.

Had non stop calls this morning from this and related numbers apparently relating to job opportunities, answered one and the man had a strong accent. Normal agencies don't ring so many times it becomes rude. Questionable in my opinion
