This is a scam automated call with full of background noise. This call I received after the scam HMRC call from 020 3287 2387. Lot of con artists trying to get card details in the pretext of initiating HMRC refund payments.stay clear.

Called in the morning claiming to be from HMRC ringing about a tax refund. I hung up. Later, an automated message called asking me to call as it was my "final warning". Totally fraudulent.

HMRC fake (Robocall) reported by


A recording sais hello a couple of time, and then tells me that this is a final warning from HMRC and I need to call HMRC to avoid further complications. It gives a number to which I did not called back. HMRC does not make robocalls, they have always sent me letters, so it must be a scam. The recording is also low quality and full of noise.

Possible scam - did not call back (Unsolicited call) reported by


I did not call back but this seemed like a possible scam - pre-recorded voice says hello a couple times, then states the call is from HMRC regarding a lawsuit - does not mention any name, or reference number - just gives a number to call back which is the same as the number the call was made from. Seemed suspicious did not call back as I have not received any written communication about anything from HMRC - I assume they would at the least send a letter prior.

After a few robo-hellos the message told me that they were involved in HMRC litigation against me over something unpaid. I know this is untrue to I hung up. I got the same call 5 minutes later.
