I too texted Blanket to donate £3 - I never answer unknown phone calls and glad I didn't having seen these comments. I agree with the comments that these kind of phone calls should not be made.

Fundraising agency called Listen. Calling on behalf of UNICEF. Calls daily. They state you can remove your number from theirs and UNICEF's databases by calling 03330 11 00 23 and following the prompts. I have done this today. Appears to be legitimate, website: www.listenfundraising.com/contact

I text to give £3 to the blanket appeal now being bombarded with calls! Will block them and now know not to give via text message again! It is a shame really for all the other charities that will lose out as they are greedy and want more and more from you. They see the texts as soft touches.
