So I get a call telling me I've donated to a charity I've never donated too! WHAT they do is ask leading questions to try get you to say "YES" and what they then do is keep asking you questions about donating to a charity weekly or monthly if you at amytime say yes they use this to bill yoyr mobile telephone or landline they call you on mostly its mobile's but they are known to call landlines. BEWARE AND DON'T SAY "YES"

Received calls from this number during the day during October, not recognised so did not answer and they did not leave msg... then same number called tonight 7.30pm ish so I thought I would answer but stay silent. Man on other end kept saying 'Hello' 'Hello?' but there was distinct hum of call centre in the background. After after 10 Hellos he hung up. If someone is authentic and needs to contact you they'll leave a human message not a recorded one. Ignore numbers you don't know.

Not pleasant. I had been receiving calls from this number and ignoring. Made the mistake of answering when I wasn't busy. I had signed up for a free Shelter book on Renting and good practise. Unfortinately this was the consequence. A persistant man who tried three times to get me to commit to.direct debit!!!! Unpleasant. He was defensive. I began to feel as if I was in the wrong. Subtle and manipulative.

I have been consistently receiving calls from different numbers, since the 3rd of November, 2015. They've all been from different numbers, all of which, except for one, have begun with 02. The calls have always been received between 11am and 3pm (GMT (London timezone)). I've never answered the calls, but after hearing the comments here, I am rather curious, as to finding out what the calls are.

Told me I had signed a peition, I told him I hadn't, he argued that I had. When I asked what about, he said renting. When I enquired why would I sign a petition to do with renting, I can't even think of a reason a petition about renting might exist, I don't even rent a property myself. He said 'you might sign it if you had compassion' CHEEKY MAN!!!! I told him I wasn't interested and got rid of him!

I am persistently receiving calls from this number and other similar. I signed a petition from Greenpeace to ask the government to intervene with fishing trawlers killing dolphins. I have also signed other petitions for similar organisations. As far as I was then concerned, that was the end of it. However, These people are now calling me on my landline or mobile asking for donations. These people are a damned nuisance because although I tell them that I am not willing to pay any money to them, they try keeping me on the telephone pressing me for my money. The last organisation I received a call from. I asked the person calling me, What do they not understand when I say NO? In the future, I will not sign any more petitions, If I get anymore calls from these spongers, I will firstly wright their telephone number down and then ask how they have managed to get my telephone number? I will demand that they Stop calling my telephone number and inform them that in the future, if I receive anymore begging calls, I will have the greatest of pleasure in saying two words before disconnecting their call. F OFF.

This range of numbers is mostly related to the call centre working for RSPCA - check them at http://www.rspca.org.uk/home - but this is used by a global call centre working for multiple charities (also Cancer Research and National Deaf Society), and the bad thing is that they share the database of numbers, so can call you not only in the name of RSPCA then... Probably I will block this number, it became just a nuisance - have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very useful for call centres). No problems.
