Male asked for me by name and then said they were a firm of solicitors and that they were calling about the no fault road traffic accident I had where another vehicle ran into me. I replied that I must have a memory lapse to which he replied, " Yes it seems like it because you sound like a *" , then promptly hung up.

I'm not convinced this was a genuine call, and possible a scam to get my bank details. Gentleman said I was due a refund of around 700-1000 pounds from an inconvenience during an All Inlcusive Holiday in Europe last year. When asked where, he couldn't specify and name dropped Thomas Cook. I'd be keen to hear if anyone else has had similar calls.

Please can you detail what they helped you out with? I just received a phone call from this number telling me about a refund I was due from an all inclusive holiday in Europe last year. I asked where and the man couldn't tell me. Going from the other comments here though this was completely different from other calls received. (Dating agency, Solar Panels etc) I'm keen to understand what they helped you with? And whether this was a genuine call or not. Stated they were calling from Capital Travel (a company I have not been able to find on Google)

"I didn't know what it was a first but after speaking to them they helped me out a lot." How non specific can a comment get unless it is a plant. i.e. someone reviewing their own nuisance call business.

Got a call from this number and when I answered a guy asked me if he was speaking with myself and when I said yes he replied by saying are you married. I said no and he asked if I wanted to meet the guy of my dreams ... As you can imagine the phone went down and next time I'll have my partener answer and it probably won't be the same conversation.

Well whoever runs this number has some idiots working there. They went through to my voicemail and in the background you can hear someone on another call and then going "I just got hung up on by some stupid f**king sl*g" then whoever was on my call can be heard going "ooh yea I like that one mate" clearly looking at something else while on a phone call. It gave me my friends a good giggle playing back the voicemail.
